Exciting 2024 LIV Golf Schedule Revealed with 7 International Events – Championships Date TBD

LIV Golf has unveiled a partial schedule for its highly anticipated third season, featuring an increased international presence, multiple events coinciding with major PGA Tour tournaments, and some notable omissions.

The schedule released Wednesday outlines 12 of LIV’s expected 14 events, with seven to be played internationally. It’s possible that this number will increase to eight once the full schedule is finalized. Additionally, the schedule includes new domestic U.S. stops in Las Vegas, Nashville, and Houston, adding to the excitement of the upcoming season.

Compared to 2023, when LIV played six events internationally and eight in the United States, the 2024 schedule promises even more global competition and excitement.

Notably, the schedule released Wednesday does not include dates or sites for LIV’s 2024 individual and team championships. However, it is expected that these events will be rescheduled to avoid conflicting with the PGA tour in October, as seen in previous seasons.

The 2024 season will kick off in Mexico the first week of February, followed by the highly anticipated event at the Las Vegas Country Club, coinciding with the buzz of Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

Some of the new U.S. stops on the 2024 schedule include the Golf Club of Houston and The Grove in Nashville, adding more flavor and variety to the upcoming season. Notably, Rich Harvest Farms, a previous host of LIV events, is absent from the 2024 schedule.

Several events in the 2024 LIV season will run concurrently with notable PGA Tour events, adding an element of suspense and competition. The clashes include the Las Vegas tournament against The Genesis Invitational, the Saudi Arabia event during the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Hong Kong event alongside The Players Championship, and the Houston event opposite The Memorial.

The possibility of these events being played under the same umbrella as the PGA Tour remains uncertain, pending the finalization of a framework agreement between LIV and the PGA Tour.

LIV Golf is not going away. Neither are questions about its future

LIV’s regular season will conclude Aug. 16-18 at The Greenbrier in West Virginia, capping off an exciting season of golf and competition.

Notably, the release of Wednesday’s schedule did not include the U.S. site for an April 5-7 event preceding the Masters, nor did it confirm the venue for the 2024 individual and team championships, raising intrigue and speculation among fans and enthusiasts alike.

Furthermore, the schedule has omitted Trump Doral, the previous site of the 2022 and 2023 team championships, fueling speculation that it may host an early April event, coinciding with an important phase of the 2024 U.S. presidential election cycle.

LIV’s interest in South Korea as a potential site for the 2024 individual or team championship adds an element of mystery and anticipation to the upcoming season.

International sites confirmed for the 2024 schedule include Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Spain, and the United Kingdom, promising a diverse and thrilling season of international competition.
