Ex-partner Devon Archer to testify about Hunter Biden’s frequent involvement of then-VP dad Joe in business matters over at least 24 phone calls

Devon Archer, the former best friend of Hunter Biden, is set to testify before Congress this week, revealing that Hunter would include his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, in calls with overseas business partners. These meetings, witnessed by Archer, occurred either in person or through speakerphone, with Hunter introducing his father to foreign business partners and potential investors. The House Oversight Committee is eagerly anticipating Archer’s testimony, as it sheds light on the extent of Joe Biden’s involvement with Hunter’s overseas business dealings.

One specific meeting in Dubai stands out, where Joe Biden was brought into the conversation after a board meeting of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. Archer and Hunter then travelled to another location to have a drink with one of Hunter’s friends. During their time at the bar, a senior Burisma executive called, urgently requesting to speak with Hunter. Hunter promptly called his father, placed him on speakerphone, and introduced him to the Ukrainians. Joe Biden greeted them briefly, but mostly kept to mutual pleasantries during the call, which aligns with his behavior during other interactions with Hunter’s overseas business partners.

The urgency of the Burisma executive’s call requesting to speak with Joe Biden raises questions that congressional investigators will explore. It should be noted that just three days after this phone call, Joe Biden was scheduled to fly to Ukraine to address corruption in the country’s parliament. The context of these events, along with the actions of Ukrainian prosecutor general Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma for corruption, adds further intrigue. Shokin’s investigation ultimately led to the seizure of properties owned by the company’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky. Shortly after Shokin’s dismissal, Joe Biden openly admitted to threatening to withhold US aid to Ukraine if Shokin was not fired.

Additional evidence from emails on Hunter’s laptop reveals that Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi pressured Hunter to use his influence and halt the criminal investigation into the company. These revelations demonstrate the extent of Hunter’s involvement in his father’s business dealings and the pressure he faced from his associates.

Tony Bobulinski, another former business partner, corroborates the claims about Hunter’s ability to get his father on the phone during meetings. Bobulinski recounts an instance at the Chateau Marmont in LA where Hunter offered to call his father via speakerphone. This “party trick” of Hunter’s occurred multiple times in Archer’s presence, presenting further evidence of Joe Biden’s participation in his son’s business affairs.

Archer, who is cooperating with investigators due to his belief in fulfilling his “civic duty,” will also testify about dinners where Hunter organized meetings between his father and business partners from Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan at a Georgetown restaurant. The first dinner in April 2015 included Burisma executive Pozharskyi and Russian billionaire Yelena Baturina. The following day, Pozharskyi sent Hunter an email expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to meet Joe Biden.

Throughout these revelations, Joe Biden has consistently denied any knowledge of his son’s overseas business dealings. However, a recently released FBI document alleges that Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma, claimed to have paid a $10 million bribe to Joe and Hunter Biden in 2016. These revelations, along with Archer’s testimony, will shed light on the extent of Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s business ventures.
