The video shared by Ana Benevides’ mother on social media has stirred strong emotions. The devastated mother of the Taylor Swift concertgoer who tragically passed away from extreme heat at the singer’s Rio de Janeiro concert last weekend has expressed her gratitude towards fans for fundraising to bring her daughter’s body home. This comes after she criticized the event organizers for failing to assist in her daughter’s repatriation.

In an emotional video, Ana Clara Benevides’ mother, Adriana, thanked all the supporters who contributed to the fundraiser, expressing her relief at having reached the financial goal needed to bring her daughter home. She revealed that many generous individuals had donated to the cause, which has been overwhelming and greatly appreciated.

It was reported that Benevides fell ill at the beginning of the show and tragically passed away later at the hospital. The organizers of the stadium show, Time For Fun (T4F), faced criticism for allegedly not offering support to transport Benevides’ body back to her home state of Mato Grosso do Sul.

Benevides’ mother expressed her sadness and frustration in a tearful interview on Brazilian television, revealing that the organizers of the concert had not provided assistance and that the family had to bear all the financial burdens.

Although the exact cause of Benevides’ death has not been disclosed, it is believed that she suffered from a heat-related illness due to the extreme temperatures at the concert. Following her tragic demise, T4F also came under fire for not allowing water bottles into the stadium, despite the extreme conditions.

Taylor Swift expressed her devastation over the loss of a fan before her show and later postponed her concert due to the extreme temperatures. She performed a special tribute at her Sunday show in memory of Benevides and is reportedly reevaluating her Thanksgiving plans after being deeply affected by the tragedy.
