Elon Musk acknowledges the influence of the pop queen and her potential benefits to him. The billionaire owner of X made a direct request to Taylor Swift to share her music on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
“I recommend posting some music or concert videos directly on the X platform,” Musk mentioned in an X post to Swift.
Musk responded to Swift’s September 20 X post, where she revealed the back covers and track list for her upcoming album, “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
The album is a re-recording of Swift’s fifth album, originally released in 2014. It is part of Swift’s ongoing “Taylor’s Version” series, along with “Fearless,” “Red,” and “Speak Now.”
In addition to her social media promotion, Swift has joined forces with Google to create a series of puzzles for her fans to solve. Solving the puzzles will unveil previously unreleased tracks from “1989,” which will be included on the new album.
However, the puzzle feature experienced technical difficulties soon after launch, as reported.
Musk’s outreach to Swift is part of his ongoing efforts to promote X using influential figures.
Previously, Musk has engaged political figures such as Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis. He has also supported former Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s show on X.
