Merrick Garland’s decision to appoint US Attorney David Weiss as the special counsel for the Hunter Biden probe is an insult to the intelligence of the American people (“Garland names special counsel for Hunter Biden case — but GOP cries ‘whitewash’,” Aug. 11).
Weiss’s involvement in approving an unfair plea deal for Hunter Biden raises suspicions of another cover-up. Thankfully, a responsible judge intervened to stop the deal. The audacity of this corrupt government in flouting the law is beyond belief.
Fortunately, Garland’s appointment to the Supreme Court was prevented. It gives us hope that we can rid ourselves of him along with the pervasive corruption within the Biden family.
America needs to wake up. The majority of you voted for this lawless government.

Garland has appointed David Weiss, an expert in covering up scandals, as special counsel to investigate Hunter. Weiss’s role is likely to conceal evidence of crimes committed by Hunter and his family, especially Joe Biden.

FBI Director Christopher Wray’s claim that the memo suggesting traditional Catholic groups are hotbeds of domestic terrorism originated from only one field office has now been proven false. Multiple FBI field offices were involved in its creation. Wray’s incompetence and political bias make his removal necessary.
Such outrageous behavior by the FBI reflects the prevalence of the swamp. It is a shameful disgrace.
It is unfortunate that our Catholic church leaders have remained silent in the face of these attacks. We need their voice.
