Dunkin’ to Introduce Refreshing Alcoholic Iced Coffee and Tea

Dunkin’ is revolutionizing its offerings by introducing Dunkin’ Spiked, a line of alcoholic iced coffees and teas. The Massachusetts-based chain has already launched its Dunkin’ Spiked website, and certain flavors have received label approvals from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. While an exact release date is yet to be announced, the brand is expected to debut four flavors of spiked iced coffee (original, caramel, mocha, and vanilla) and four flavors of spiked iced tea (slightly sweet, half & half, strawberry dragonfruit, and mango pineapple). The spiked coffees have an alcohol by volume (ABV) content of 6%, while the spiked teas have an ABV of 5%. Label approvals have been granted for five flavors: original and vanilla iced coffee, and slightly sweet, strawberry dragonfruit, and mango pineapple iced tea.

Dunkin’ Spiked will provide different packaging options, including single servings and packs of four and six. However, no pricing details or launch date have been disclosed yet. The eagerly anticipated release is expected once all Dunkin’ Spiked varieties receive approval from the TTB. The single cans are 19.2 ounces, while the variety packs consist of 12-ounce cans with a mix of flavors. The production of each Dunkin’ Spiked flavor will take place at Harpoon Brewery in Boston, Dunkin’s long-term brew partner, known for creating seasonal beverages like the beloved pumpkin-flavored drinks. The Washington Post has reached out to Dunkin’ and Harpoon Brewery for comments. As of now, the pricing information for Dunkin’ Spiked remains unknown, as the website is still under construction.

Additionally, Dunkin’ has provided an online map for customers to locate where they can purchase Dunkin’ Spiked. Although the map was not functioning as of Friday, it demonstrates Dunkin’s commitment to customer convenience. America’s largest coffee company, with nearly 10,000 locations across the US, is gearing up for its fall offerings, set to be released on August 16. This includes the highly anticipated Pumpkin Spice Latte, accompanied by pumpkin-flavored donuts, donut holes, muffins, a Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich, and Snackin’ Bacon. Furthermore, customers can look forward to a separate Halloween menu, available from October 11 to 31.
