June 26 (UPI) — Drew Sidora shares the details of the “breaking point” that led to her divorce from ex-husband Ralph Pittman.
During Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, the 38-year-old TV personality responded to questions about her split from Pittman, 40.
Pittman filed for divorce from Sidora in February after almost nine years of marriage. The former couple shares two children together, son Machai, 8, and daughter Aniya, 5. Sidora also has a son named Josiah from a previous relationship.
On WWHL, Sidora shared that she had been planning to file for divorce when Pittman beat her to it.
“I got to a point where I had enough, and when he found out that I was planning to file, it became a race,” she explained. “I’m not sure if that was his way of deflecting or trying to change the narrative.”
Sidora was then asked to explain what ultimately led to the end of her marriage.
“I believe it was a culmination of years of enduring and enduring,” the star stated. “I grew up with my parents, who have been married for 60 years. They showed me what it looks like for two people to love each other and continuously fight for their marriage.”
“But when it reaches the point of public humiliation and dealing with things that are now being exposed on camera, that’s when it became a breaking point,” she added.
Sidora and Pittman’s relationship issues have been shown on Real Housewives of Atlanta, including in Season 14 when Sidora discovered inappropriate text messages sent by Pittman to an assistant.
Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently airing its 15th season on Bravo. The show also features Shereé Whitfield, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross.
