The Grammy-winning rapper, currently touring the U.S. on his “It’s All a Blur Tour” with 21 Savage, went viral over the summer when he jokingly expressed disappointment that fans weren’t throwing enough bras at him during his concerts.
Well, it seems his fans took his request seriously.
On Wednesday, Drake, also known as Aubrey Drake Graham, proudly displayed his extensive collection of bras in various colors and sizes that he has received from concertgoers.
In an Instagram post, Drake can be seen grinning like a child surrounded by a sea of bras. He’s wearing a sweatshirt in the photo that reads, “If Assholes Could Fly, This Place Would Be an Airport.”
In the caption, the Degrassi alum wrote, “Remember when we both forgot who the fuck I was in unison…that wavelength was definitely a foolish one.”
To emphasize the sheer number of bras he has accumulated, Drake also shared a video on his Instagram story showing his team emptying a massive bin filled with bras.
Fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, had mixed reactions to Drake’s extensive bra collection.
Some X users expressed concern about Drake keeping such a large number of undergarments.
The trend of fans throwing bras at Drake started back in July, when he expressed disappointment over the lack of bras being thrown at him during his shows.
During one concert, he said, “I would just like to say before I go onto this next song, this is the first stage where I don’t have no bras, and I’m deeply disappointed. But don’t start throwing shoes and phones and shit.”
He added, “If you got a bra, though, just let me know that I still got it ’cause I feel like I might be having a bad show or something. I didn’t see no bras tonight.”
