DoorDash Urges Favorable Judgment in Wrongful Death Lawsuit: Taking a Stand for Justice

DoorDash Responds to Lawsuit, Asserts Innocence

DoorDash, the popular online food order and delivery company, has officially responded to a lawsuit filed against them by the family of Bing Wang, a Chinese national who tragically lost his life in a car accident involving one of DoorDash’s drivers. In their official court filing, DoorDash’s attorneys argue that judgment should be in their favor, as the plaintiffs engaged in deception and negligence, while DoorDash acted in good faith.

The lawsuit was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on behalf of Bing Wang’s wife and son, who were also injured in the incident. The accident occurred on June 7th in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood, when a DoorDash driver’s car veered off the road and struck the family members who were standing on a sidewalk. Tragically, Bing Wang lost his life, while his wife, Xiaomei, suffered severe injuries and had to undergo amputation of her left leg. Their son, Wenxuan, sustained moderate injuries.

DoorDash’s attorneys assert that the Wang family should not receive any compensation and that judgment should be entered in favor of DoorDash. The company remains committed to providing a safe and reliable service to its customers and is cooperating fully with the investigation.
