Former President Donald Trump’s recent outburst can only be described as a display of excessive emotion, much like overcooked Fourth of July hot dogs. In his tirade, the aspiring 2024 Republican presidential candidate resorted to using all-caps and propagated false information with fiery language.
Trump’s statement on Truth Social read, “MASSIVE PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT IS CURRENTLY TAKING PLACE IN AMERICA. THE WEAPONIZATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN. CRIME & INFLATION ARE RAMPANT, OUR BORDERS ARE OPEN, OUR ELECTIONS ARE RIGGED, OUR ECONOMY IS IN SHAMBLES, OUR ENERGY INDEPENDENCE IS GONE, OUR ‘LEADER’ IS MERCILESSLY MOCKED, & OUR COUNTRY IS BEING DESTROYED BOTH INSIDE & OUT. DO THE PEOPLE OF THIS ONCE GREAT NATION EVEN HAVE A CHOICE BUT TO PROTEST THE POTENTIAL DOOM OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA??? 2024!!!”
By emphasizing his words through the use of capital letters, Trump seemingly aimed to capitalize on his ongoing legal troubles. He currently faces a 37-count federal indictment, accusing him of unlawfully retaining classified documents and evading government attempts to recover them.
He did not stop there, however. Trump is also under investigation for his involvement in the January 6th insurrection.
