Actor and musician Dominic Fike disclosed in a recent interview for Apple Music that he faced the risk of being removed from the hit HBO show “Euphoria” due to his drug use during filming. The 27-year-old admitted to being under the influence while shooting scenes for the show. When asked about his drug use on set, Fike candidly admitted, “Oh my God, yeah dude. I was so messed up doing a lot of that show. It was really bad. I was reprimanded for it.”
Fike further revealed that he nearly got kicked off the show. Show creator Sam Levinson had a conversation with Fike, advising him not to continue his drug use while filming. Fike admitted that it was challenging to portray a drug addict character on a show about drugs, especially with his own substance abuse issues.
