Renowned artist Damien Hirst, 58, and his fiancée Sophie Cannell, 29, were spotted on a romantic date night, accompanied by their adorable new chihuahua. The couple dined at their favorite Mayfair restaurant, Scott’s, where they were seen cuddling and petting their furry companion.
Both dressed in matching black tracksuit bottoms and white hoodies with unique graphics, Damien carried a Louis Vuitton dog basket over his shoulder, filled with their pup’s essentials. Their new pet stole the show as Sophie lovingly cradled and played with it throughout the evening.
Damien Hirst, known for his controversial art exhibitions in the 1990s, is currently considered the UK’s wealthiest living artist, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. With an estimated fortune of £300 million, it’s no surprise that their new chihuahua has been lavished with designer gear.
This isn’t the first time Damien has shown a softer side. In a previous outing at Scott’s, he was pictured snuggling up to the chihuahua, gazing into its eyes while his fiancée fed treats to the pup. Damien even carried the dog in a sling and made sure it had its favorite toys and blanket.
Damien Hirst and Sophie Cannell have been together for over four years, reportedly meeting when she worked as a waitress at the Chiltern Firehouse restaurant in London. Last year, Damien expressed his love for Sophie by creating a sculpture based on her body, displayed at the new Mayfair eatery Bacchanalia. He has also gifted her a stunning £166,600 18-carat gold Rolex Pearlmaster adorned with 713 gems.
As Damien, Sophie, and their chihuahua left Scott’s, they seemed ready to head home and tuck their furry baby into bed. This adorable trio certainly knows how to enjoy a memorable and fashionable night out on the town.
