Regardless of whether you live in a blue state or a red state, I am committed to fulfilling my promise.”
Notably, the visit to the wind tower plant coincided with the one-year anniversary of the signing of the Chips and Science Act and the subsequent Inflation Reduction Act, signed a week later.
The White House revealed that Arcosa received $1.1 billion in new wind tower orders following the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, prompting the construction of this new plant.
Arcosa was just one stop on President Biden’s tour of the southwestern United States, where he has been highlighting his administration’s efforts in combating climate change.
The day before his visit to Arcosa, Biden designated the lands surrounding the Grand Canyon as a national monument during his time in Arizona.
