These mummies were wrapped in cotton cloth and discovered approximately one foot beneath the ground. An archaeologist working at the site suggested that the bundles likely contained two adults and six adolescents.
Jesus Bahamonde, an archaeologist for Calidda, Lima’s natural gas distributor, revealed that the company has been uncovering forgotten artifacts during its development process.
