Pete Davidson Reveals Desire to Play Matchmaker for His Mom
During his appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Pete Davidson, known for his role in the film “Bupkis,” excitedly shared that he will be hosting the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” Season 49. As the show returns from its hiatus due to the writers’ strike this weekend, Davidson mentioned that his mom, Amy Waters Davidson, has been just as thrilled about his hosting gig. In fact, she has almost been on the show as many times as he has, according to a CNN report.
During his conversation with Fallon, Davidson cheekily revealed his desire to play matchmaker for his mom, who hasn’t been in a relationship for over two decades. With enthusiasm, he expressed that his mom is a “good catch” and jokingly stated that finding someone to take care of her would be a relief for him.
Pete Davidson grew up on Staten Island with his parents and younger sister. His father, Scott Matthew Davidson, tragically lost his life during the 9/11 terrorist attacks when Pete was only 7 years old.
When asked about the kind of person his mother would like to date, Davidson admitted that they never discuss such matters, so he had no clue. Love life aside, Davidson has gained attention in recent years for his high-profile relationships with celebrities such as Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale.
