In the eighth inning, the Brewers loaded the bases with one out, putting the potential tying run at the plate. But lefty Andrew Saalfrank produced two outs and preserved the three-run lead.
In the ninth inning with two outs, the Brewers once again had a chance to tie the game. The atmosphere at American Family Field was electric. However, Paul Sewald struck out William Contreras on just three pitches, securing the series win for the Diamondbacks.
