Throughout the incident, the woman’s husband repeatedly informed the deputies that she had cancer.
When the woman questioned why she was being “manhandled,” one deputy simply responded, “Because you’re being detained.” Both the woman and the man were eventually cited and released, though the specific charges remain unclear according to CNN’s report.
