U.S. Funding for the Iron Dome
The Iron Dome project initially involved Israeli firms. However, in 2011, the United States began providing financial support, significantly aiding its development and deployment. The U.S. Congress approved a total of $1.6 billion in funding from 2011 to 2021 and an additional $1 billion in 2022.
