Dolly Parton, at 77 years old, continues to captivate audiences. She proved it once again with a stunning halftime performance during the Thanksgiving game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Commanders.
Parton graced the stage at AT&T Stadium in Arlington in a modified Cowboys cheerleader outfit, kicking off her performance with a rendition of “Jolene.”

She also performed “9 to 5” and a rendition of Queen’s “We are the Champions,” possibly paying homage to the Texas Rangers, who won the World Series that November.
CBS commentator and former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo appeared to thoroughly enjoy Parton’s performance, to the point where Jim Nantz had to steer the conversation back to the game.
The NFL enlisted three different artists to perform at halftime during the Thanksgiving games in 2023. Jack Harlow performed during the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions game, with his performance not receiving as much acclaim as Parton’s.
DJ Steve Aoki will take the stage during the halftime of the late game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. He certainly has big shoes to fill after Parton’s electrifying performance.
