On November 25th, Level 3 sex offender Michael Lee Littlewolf made a move to the Cass Lake area as per the latest report from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Littlewolf’s criminal record involves holding a man and a woman against their will and instructing the woman to undress. This was the result of him unlawfully entering their home and utilizing force and a weapon to coerce compliance, the report stated. As a 16-year-old, Littlewolf also engaged in sexual contact with a teenage girl after forcefully entering a home and threatening to use weapons.
Described as 5-foot-8 with black hair and brown eyes, the 54-year-old offender falls into the higher risk category as defined by the three-tier offender classification system based on the risk of re-offending.
The release mentioned, “This individual has served the sentence imposed on them by the court and is transitioning into the community. This notification is not intended to increase fear but rather raise awareness. Law enforcement believes that an informed public is a safer public.” The Cass County Sheriff’s Office clarified that they have no authority to dictate the individual’s place of residence or activities.
