James Harden has had a rocky start while playing for his fourth team since 2021.
The Los Angeles Clippers acquired Harden at the beginning of the NBA season and haven’t won a game since then. Contrast that with the Philadelphia 76ers, who have gone 7-0 without Harden this season, prompting harsh criticism of Harden for his comments about Dary Morey and the way he’s left all of his previous teams.
Following the Clippers’ loss to the Dallas Mavericks, Mavs analyst Brian Dameris had a few things to say about the ten-time All-Star. “I hope you’re taking notes. I’m telling you in advance, ‘You’re welcome,’ for the wisdom I’m about to spew,” Dameris commented on Bally Sports Southwest.
“You went there and got a partner who got the MVP, [Joel Embiid] won the MVP, and what did you say afterwards? You said, ‘They didn’t hand me the reins.’ You’re the point guard, you were holding the reins. . . .” Dameris then bitingly remarked.
