Daimler’s Ambitious Goal: Expanding Presence Across 350 Network Locations by 2023

German auto-maker Daimler, known for its BharatBenz range of vehicles, has significantly increased its presence in India by opening five new dealerships. This move is part of Daimler’s ambitious plan to establish outlets in 350 locations by the end of this year. Currently, the company’s network comprises over 320 locations.

The five new dealerships have been established in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu; Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh; Jindh, Haryana; Aizwal, Mizoram; and Dimapur in Nagaland.

“These new BharatBenz dealerships have been strategically placed closer to National and State Highways to provide speedy and reliable service to our customers,” said a spokesperson from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, which is a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG.

These state-of-the-art facilities have been designed to offer customers comprehensive solutions in terms of sales, service, and spare parts for BharatBenz’s entire range of commercial vehicles.

“Having already reached 320 sales and service locations, we will continue to expand our network in the coming months and aim to achieve 350 locations by the end of 2023,” said Sreeram Venkateswaran, the President, and CBO of the company.

“This expansion will allow our customers to conveniently access our products and services whenever and wherever they need them,” he added.
