A father and his daughter were rescued by brave rescuers after the father attempted to drown his daughter during a family dispute. The harrowing scene unfolded in Qingjiang township of Yueqing, Zhejiang province, China. The man, only identified as Mr. Wang, led his two daughters into the river in an attempt to commit suicide. However, the rescue squad was quick to respond and managed to pull both father and daughter to safety onto a boat. Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the incident. As the rescue squad pulled Mr. Wang onto the boat, he appeared to fight back, making it difficult for the men to haul him in. Nonetheless, they managed to do so, and the little girl was rescued from the river. The exact reason for Mr. Wang’s drastic decision is unknown. However, reports suggest that it resulted from a family argument. In any case, the rescuers’ quick action saved two lives.
