Wilma McCann, a 28-year-old sex worker and mother of four, was brutally murdered by Sutcliffe. He picked her up in Leeds and then proceeded to beat her with a hammer. He also stabbed her multiple times in the neck, chest, and stomach. Sutcliffe later claimed that he developed a hatred for prostitutes to justify his actions.
Her body was discovered in Prince Phillip Playing Fields.

Patricia Atkinson was Sutcliffe’s first victim in his hometown of Bradford. After picking her up, he took her to a flat where he brutally attacked her with a hammer. Jayne MacDonald
