NASA has officially announced the crew members for the upcoming 2024 International Space Station crew rotation mission. The crew includes Alexander Grebenkin (Roscosmos cosmonaut Mission Specialist), Michael Barrat (NASA astronaut Pilot), Matthew Dominick (NASA Commander), and Jeanette Epps (NASA Mission Specialist). This mission will join Expedition 70 and 71 members on board the ISS in early 2024. Through this mission, NASA aims to overcome the challenges of long-duration spaceflight and promote commercial opportunities in low Earth orbit. Since the establishment of the ISS, it has hosted over 3,000 research and education investigations with the participation of 244 people from 19 countries. This will be Commander Dominick’s first spaceflight, while Pilot Barratt is embarking on his third trip to the ISS. Mission Specialist Epps, who previously worked for Ford Motor Company and the Central Intelligence Agency, will also be traveling to the ISS for the first time. Lastly, Grebenkin, a graduate of Moscow Technical University, will be embarking on his maiden space mission.
