Cracking the Case: Trio Apprehended for Spree of Home Burglaries

Police in Los Angeles County have announced the arrest of three masked suspects in connection with a series of residential burglaries. The suspects, who were captured on surveillance cameras, allegedly broke into homes in Studio City by smashing sliding glass doors. They ransacked the properties and stole valuable items such as jewelry and handbags. The suspects then fled in a stolen Black 2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio.

One of the victims had a tracking device concealed in a designer handbag that was stolen. After tracking down the suspects and witnessing them commit another burglary, the victim contacted the police. Officers followed the suspects using the tracking device, which led them to an apartment complex in Inglewood. The LAPD’s Air Support Division observed the suspects attempting to pry open a safe that was taken in one of the burglaries. The suspects were eventually arrested, and their identities were revealed as Vernon Harvey, Qwaee Wright, and Bobby Bolton, all residents of Los Angeles.

Further investigation revealed that the three suspects were responsible for approximately 20 other residential burglaries in West Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. During the arrests, the police recovered three firearms and the stolen property from additional burglaries in the San Fernando Valley.

Anyone with information about these burglaries is urged to contact LAPD North Hollywood Burglary Detectives Timothy Kirkpatrick or Gus Ramirez at 818-754-8377. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477. Calls during non-business hours or weekends should be directed to 877-527-3247.
