Cousins Mia Tindall, 9, and Savannah Phillips, 12, have a blast at the Festival of British Eventing in Gatcombe Park

Mia Tindall and Savannah Phillips had an incredibly enjoyable day at the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park. The young royal cousins, aged nine and 12 respectively, were seen laughing and participating in various activities, including trampolining. Sporting official navy T-shirts and green wellington boots to prepare for the muddy conditions, Mia and Savannah truly embraced the festive spirit.

Joining them at this prestigious event, held at the Princess Royal’s estate, were their grandmother Princess Anne, Mia’s mother Zara Tindall, her sister Lena, and Savannah’s sibling Isla. While Mia’s brother Lucas and her father Mike Tindall were absent, and Savannah’s father Peter Phillips was not pictured either, the family enjoyed a fun-filled experience together.

The event, now in its 28th year, features a course designed by Princess Anne herself. It spans over two days and includes dressage, show jumping, and different cross-country phases. Mia, being the eldest of Zara and Mike Tindall’s children, currently holds the 22nd position in the line of succession. She shares a mischievous nature with her cousin Savannah and clearly relishes the time spent running around with her family at various horse competitions.

In June 2022, Savannah and Mia once again displayed their close bond as they joyfully danced to Abba during the Platinum Jubilee Pageant at Buckingham Palace. The young royal cousins were captured laughing and engaging in activities such as trampolining. Their grandmother, Princess Anne, and Zara Tindall, as well as the other siblings, Lena and Isla, were also present at the event.

Mia couldn’t help but groove to Abba’s timeless hit, “Dancing Queen,” from the royal stands, fully embracing the celebratory atmosphere. Despite sitting in front of London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan, Savannah and Mia remained undistracted and danced freely during the concert. Mia’s younger sister, Lena, seemingly less enthusiastic about the dancing duo, crossed her arms and wore a scowl while watching the stage.

The cousins coordinated their outfits for the occasion. Mia rocked a blue shirt dress adorned with a playful palm tree print, effortlessly sweeping her hair back with a navy hairband. Savannah, on the other hand, opted for a bright blue dress complemented by a white cardigan, while Isla completed the trio in a matching white hairband and jacket.

With their official navy T-shirts and green wellington boots, Savannah and Mia were ready to take on any challenge at the Festival of British Eventing. Their vibrant and lively dance moves during the Platinum Jubilee Pageant at Buckingham Palace further showcased their deep bond as Queen Elizabeth II’s great-granddaughters. The event, which Princess Anne personally designed, encompasses a thrilling combination of dressage, show jumping, and cross-country phases. As Zara Tindall embraced the opening day of this splendid festival, it was clear that the entire family was prepared for an exciting and memorable experience.
