Costco Revolutionizes Healthcare with Affordable Virtual Medical Care at Just $29

For the price of six Costco rotisserie chickens, Costco members can now receive virtual primary care through online marketplace Sesame. This partnership offers healthcare services for $29 in all 50 states, giving members access to virtual checkups and follow-ups with doctors, as well as virtual mental health visits.

Sesame specifically targets the uninsured and those with high deductibles who prefer to pay in cash. They do not accept health insurance, which helps to keep their prices low.

“Quality, great value, and low price are what the Costco brand is known for,” said David Goldhill, Sesame’s co-founder and CEO. “Sesame delivers the same high quality, great value, and low price when it comes to healthcare. Costco members will appreciate the affordable care we offer.”

This move by Costco follows in the footsteps of other major retailers, such as Amazon and Walmart, who also provide healthcare services to their customers.
