Controversy sparks as Modern Warfare 3 players debate new Zombies mode – is it boring?

Activision’s new Zombies mode in Modern Warfare 3 has failed to impress players accustomed to the previous games.

Modern Warfare 3 introduced “Operation Deadbolt,” a new Zombies mode featuring significant changes such as a larger map and objective-based challenges instead of round-based ones compared to its predecessors.

In an attempt to align the gameplay with Warzone, a highly successful mode for the franchise, developers also revamped this year’s campaign, a move that displeased influential streamers like MoistCr1tikal.

Popular and long-time Zombies content creator NoahJ456, known for completing insane challenges, voiced his discontent with the mode on social media, sparking a community debate.

“Story so far is non-existent, it’s really boring, it’s trash.”

A player who retweeted the clip disagreed with NoahJ456, expressing a liking for the changes: “Zombies players when they can’t run around a small map for hours on end and have a story that requires a PhD to understand.”

“It’s literally the best zombies ever lol,” said one fan. “I do love me a good Easter egg, but many are way too convoluted,” said another.

For every positive comment regarding the new Zombies mode, there were well over double the number of complaints. “Nah they really could’ve done a better job with zombies I feel like them taking this route is honestly lazy,” one wrote. “Bro this zombies mode is straight trash,” another added.
