Christina Aguilera’s Exciting Hopes to Be Included in Britney Spears’ Memoir – Billboard

Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have been constant figures in the public eye throughout their lives. These former Mickey Mouse Club stars began their careers together in the early 1990s and both achieved significant success in the late 1990s. During that time, the media constantly attempted to pit them against each other in a manufactured battle of the pop divas.

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 16th, Christina Aguilera discussed her potential involvement in Britney Spears’ highly anticipated memoir, The Woman in Me. Jimmy Kimmel asked if she expected to be mentioned in the book. Aguilera responded with a smile, saying she wasn’t sure. Kimmel then wondered if she personally wanted to be included.

Aguilera hesitated before answering, stating that she hopes everything between them is good and that the future should be celebrated. Kimmel pressed further, asking Aguilera to choose between being mentioned in the book or not. With a stammer, she replied that she would prefer Kimmel to be mentioned instead of her.

During the interview, Aguilera also spoke about her family’s extravagant Halloween decorations and provided a sneak peek of her upcoming intimate Las Vegas show at the Voltaire Belle de Nuit at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas, set to begin on New Year’s Eve weekend.
