Carey Price and Family Say Farewell to Quebec, Selling Montreal Home for $1.8M

The star goaltender of the Montreal Canadiens has officially relocated with his family out of the province. Carey Price, along with his wife Angela Price and their three young children, recently left their expansive home on Montreal’s south shore. Angela Price documented the emotional farewell on Instagram stories, capturing their neighbors waving goodbye and chasing after their car as they bid adieu. The Prices have headed to Kelowna, B.C., where they already have another residence for the off-season. Interestingly, their impressive three-story house in Candiac, just south of Montreal, is now up for sale. This five-bedroom grey mansion, located on a cul-de-sac, is listed at a whopping $1.8 million.

Angela Price also shared a heartfelt message along with a photo of the family on the front steps of their home, expressing that it’s not necessarily a goodbye to Montreal as they will be back often, but rather a farewell to their beloved home and neighborhood. She mentioned experiencing a range of emotions and stated that their hearts will always remain in Montreal.

In other news, concerns have recently arisen regarding a missing Titanic sub piloted by a video game controller, which supposedly has “improvised” parts. Additionally, El Nino is predicted to be on its way, potentially impacting Canada.

As for Carey Price, the esteemed Habs goalie, he has previously mentioned that he has no plans to retire, despite currently being on the long-term injured reserve due to a lingering knee injury. In October 2021, Price also joined the NHL/NHL Players’ Association joint player assistance program for substance use.

Notably, Price, who hails from Anahim Lake, B.C., has spent his entire 14-season NHL career with the Canadiens. He has been recognized as a seven-time all-star and was named the NHL’s most valuable player and top goaltender in 2015. Furthermore, he was honored with the 2022 Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy for his perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication in his journey to return to the Canadiens’ net.
