‘Car Expert Reveals How a Common Mistake Can Devastate Your Engine – Don’t Make This Costly Error’

Car experts are sharing their hacks, tips, and tricks, and one of them recently revealed a clever trick: using two key fob buttons to remotely turn on the AC in your car. Not only is this a convenient feature, but it can also help keep your car cool on hot days.

However, another automotive expert has issued a warning about a common habit that could potentially damage your car. Bladed Angel, who regularly posts informative videos on his YouTube channel, is tired of fixing a common tire mistake that drivers often make.

In his latest video, Bladed Angel emphasizes the importance of not driving your car on an empty tank. He explains that even if the fuel gauge shows empty or below empty, the car can still move. However, continuously driving on low fuel can put stress on the fuel pump, which is trying to extract every last drop of fuel.

While rising petrol prices may tempt drivers to use up every bit of fuel in their tanks, doing so can deprive certain parts of the engine from receiving fuel. This can lead to poor vehicle performance and potentially cause components to wear out faster.

According to Bladed Angel, this issue may result in frugal drivers being left stranded when they attempt to start their cars.

To avoid this problem, Bladed Angel advises drivers to always fill up their vehicles when the fuel warning light comes on. He suggests driving with at least a quarter of a tank, but if you prefer to push it, keep at least an eighth or tenth of a tank (10 to 15 percent of your fuel) to ensure the engine receives sufficient fuel.

Most cars will display a fuel warning light when there’s around 10 to 15 percent of fuel remaining, indicating that it’s time to refuel.

As petrol prices have been steadily increasing in recent months, there are concerns that prices may rise dramatically in the future. Experts predict significant price hikes after the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries announced their plans to reduce reserves starting October 2023, leading to an increase in crude oil prices.
