Captivating Story: Filming Crew’s Quest for Plane Stunt Ends in Tragic Crash

Over 50 years ago, a stunt pilot and a filmmaker both plummeted to the ground while filming a small airplane for an upcoming project. The accident was captured on camera and used in the production of a documentary called Accident. The filmmaker who crashed directed the film, and it was later released by the National Film Board of Canada in 1973.
