These cancellations come as a response to several former fans sharing their uncomfortable experiences with the 36-year-old YouTuber, particularly during their teenage years. These individuals revealed that Ballinger had engaged in inappropriate relationships with them, where she would divulge her relationship issues and make sexual jokes.
Among the former fans is Adam McIntyre, who publicly stated on his YouTube channel that Ballinger “grooms” her fans. In response, Ballinger released a YouTube video where she passionately sang, denying any allegations of “grooming.” She acknowledged her mistakes, admitting that she didn’t understand the importance of not engaging with fans in that manner. As she expressed, she is not a predator, despite the perceptions of some individuals.
Additionally, former fans, including a minor at the time, disclosed that Ballinger had sent them nude photos of fellow YouTuber Trisha Paytas. Paytas, a former friend and podcast co-host of Ballinger’s, had her explicit photos available for a fee on OnlyFans. In a YouTube video, Paytas expressed her disapproval, referring to the act as “disgusting” and, above all, illegal.
As of now, there has been no response from Ballinger’s attorney regarding these matters.
