The Broncos did something no other team has managed to accomplish this season—they both defeated the Chiefs and contained Kelce. Typically, teams either focus on shutting down Kelce and allow other players to shine, or they struggle to contain him while the Chiefs have a standout performance. But the Broncos managed to do both, which is a testament to their exceptional performance.
In Sunday’s game, Kelce, who had racked up 303 receiving yards in the previous two games, was limited to just six receptions for 58 yards. The Chiefs failed to score a single touchdown, while the Broncos found the end zone with touchdowns from running back Javonte Williams and receivers Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton.
