Breaking News: ‘Succession’ Actor Alan Ruck Accidentally Crashes into Popular L.A. Pizza Parlor

The universe apparently had plans for “Succession” star Alan Ruck to indulge in some pizza on Halloween.

In a bizarre incident captured on surveillance video, a Rivian truck, reportedly driven by Ruck, crashed into Raffallo’s Pizza in Hollywood. The Los Angeles police confirmed that the crash occurred at around 9 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, involving a total of four vehicles, according to LAPD Sgt. Hector Guzman. Fortunately, there were only minor injuries reported.

Surveillance video footage reveals that the Rivian truck was traveling southbound on La Brea and rear-ended a vehicle, causing it to collide with another vehicle at the intersection. The Rivian continued southwest and ended up crashing into the side of Raffallo’s Pizza, with photos showing the cab of the truck breaking through the building’s exterior.

A Rivian truck is shown partially inside a store with emergency personnel outside it.

“The whole building shook, and I thought a bomb or something had exploded,” said Tim Ratcliff, who owns restaurants near Raffallo’s, in an interview with KTLA. Ratcliff rushed to help the driver, who showed more concern for others’ well-being than his own.

No one involved in the incident was arrested for driving under the influence, according to the police. TMZ reports that Ruck remained at the scene, talking on his cellphone while the damage was assessed.

The police investigation into the crash is ongoing.
