“It’s been a mostly quiet week for the national average price of gasoline, with most states seeing gas prices cool off,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, a leading provider of real-time gas price information from over 150,000 stations.

“However, new and ongoing refinery issues in certain regions have had a significant impact on gas prices in states like Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada. While most states are expected to see gasoline prices continue to fall in the coming week, any new refinery issues during maintenance periods could pose problems.”
