Breaking News: Infamous Serial Killer Eliminated Behind Bars – Unveiling a Chilling Chapter

A shocking incident occurred at a Texas prison on Tuesday morning. Billy Chemirmir, a man accused of killing nearly two dozen older women, was found dead in his cell. According to Texas Department of Criminal Justice spokeswoman Hannah Haney, Chemirmir’s cellmate, who is currently serving a murder sentence, was identified as the assailant. The details of how Chemirmir was killed have not been disclosed. Chemirmir, aged 50, had been imprisoned at the Coffield Unit, located about 100 miles southeast of Dallas.

At the time of his death, Chemirer had only been convicted for two of the suspected 20 cases against him. The first capital murder trial for the killing of Lu Thi Harris, 81, ended in a mistrial. However, Chemirmir was later convicted in a second trial for Harris’ death and a second killing in the case of Mary Brooks, 87. Authorities believe that Chemirmir targeted older women, killing them and stealing their valuables. He maintained his innocence throughout the trials and was serving two life sentences without the possibility of parole.

Chemirmir’s crimes came to light when a 91-year-old woman survived an attack in 2018. She reported that he had forced his way into her apartment at a senior living community, attempted to smother her with a pillow, and stole her jewelry. The police apprehended Chemirmir the following day, finding him in possession of jewelry and cash. He had just discarded a large red jewelry box. The evidence in the box led them to the home of Lu Thi Harris, where her lifeless body was found in her bedroom.
