Travis Barker has prioritized his family over continuing to tour with his renowned rock band Blink-182.
The band made an announcement on their official Instagram Story on Friday, stating that due to a pressing family matter, their drummer Barker has had to return home to the United States.
Consequently, their scheduled shows in Glasgow, Scotland, Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Dublin, Ireland have been postponed. These shows were initially planned as part of Blink-182’s “World Tour 2023/2024,” which commenced in April and were supposed to take place at the beginning of this month.
The tour is currently scheduled to resume on September 8 in Antwerp, Belgium.
No further details have been provided regarding the nature of the family matter.
CNN has reached out to a representative for Barker and Blink-182 for their comments on the situation.
Barker is currently married to Kourtney Kardashian, and the couple is eagerly expecting their first child together. (Kardashian already has three children with her ex-partner, Scott Disick).
Additionally, Barker is a father to two children and a stepfather to another from a previous relationship.
In June, Kardashian surprised fans by announcing her pregnancy in an Instagram video, where she was spotted in the audience at a Blink-182 concert, holding a sign that read, “Travis I’m pregnant.”
Later that month, the couple revealed the sex of their baby through a video posted on their Instagram pages. In the video, Barker initiated a drumroll before blue confetti revealed that they are expecting a baby boy.
On Thursday night, Barker shared pictures of a communal prayer room on his official Instagram Story.
