Biden’s G-20 Visit Illuminated: The Biden Campaign Unveils Captivating Ad Showcasing His Kyiv Expedition

President Biden’s reelection campaign has released a captivating new advertisement that showcases his leadership on the global stage during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. This timely ad coincides with Biden’s upcoming trip to the Group of 20 (G-20) summit in India.

The one-minute spot highlights Biden’s surprising and historic visit to Kyiv in February. It will be aired during CBS’s “60 Minutes” on Sunday in crucial battleground states such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, precisely while Biden is attending the summit.

“It was the first time in modern history that an American president ventured into a war zone not controlled by the United States,” states the ad amid powerful visuals.

“Under the veil of darkness, Joe Biden entered Ukraine. By morning, he stood shoulder to shoulder with our allies on the war-ravaged streets, bravely defending democracy in the face of a tyrant’s assault,” the ad adds, accompanied by an image of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The ad seamlessly incorporates photographs and videos of Biden’s overnight trip to Ukraine, showcasing his close interaction with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the ground.

“Amidst the chaos of a war zone, Joe Biden displayed the world the essence of America’s character—the serene strength of a genuine leader who refuses to back down to a dictator,” concludes the ad emphatically.

It aims to highlight Biden’s unwavering commitment to democracy while drawing a sharp contrast against the “MAGA Republicans’ perilous foreign policy stances, including their preference for Putin over the Ukrainian people,” as stated by the Biden campaign.

Throughout the conflict in Ukraine, President Biden has worked diligently to assert his leadership on the global stage and emphasize that the United States is at the forefront in assisting Ukraine and rallying western allies against Russian aggression.

Later today, Biden will depart for the G-20 summit.

This ad forms part of the Biden campaign’s 16-week, $25 million advertising campaign aimed at reaching voters in critical battleground states.

It comes at a time when the president has faced disappointing poll results. According to the latest CNN survey, his approval rating has dropped to 39 percent, the lowest recorded in CNN polls this year. Additionally, over half of Democrats expressed “serious concerns” about Biden’s age heading into the upcoming year.
