Beyoncé’s Jaw-Dropping Trailer for “Renaissance” Film: Catch the Epic Movie Release in December!

The Renaissance World Tour by Beyoncé has concluded, but fans who missed the live concert will have another chance to experience it in December. “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” will premiere in movie theaters across the United States.

In an Instagram post, Beyoncé wrote, “Be careful what you ask for, ’cause I just might comply. Tickets on sale now, in theaters 12.01,” quoting lyrics from her song “All Up In Your Mind” from the “Renaissance” record.

The post featured a trailer for the upcoming film, showcasing clips from her performances, behind-the-scenes moments, and appearances by Jay-Z and their children. Blue Ivy Carter, the couple’s oldest daughter, performed as a dancer on the Renaissance tour.

“When I am performing, I am nothing but free,” says Beyoncé in the trailer. “My goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged.”

When does the film launch and how can I get tickets?

The Renaissance film will open on Dec. 1 in major cinemas, and tickets are already on sale at AMC, Fandango, Regal Cinemas, and Cinemark. The film will also have a global release, with additional locations to be announced later.

AMC Theatres Distribution described the film as a “theatrical concert experience” and will show it at thousands of theaters. An IMAX version of the movie will also be available.

“RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ” is a documentary highlighting the journey of the Renaissance World Tour and Beyoncé’s creative process. The tour received critical acclaim and was attended by over 2.7 million fans.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour was a cultural phenomenon and generated approximately $2 billion in ticket sales.

The Renaissance movie announcement followed the conclusion of Beyoncé’s live tour and comes after the news of Taylor Swift’s theatrical run of her “Eras” world tour in U.S. cinemas.

Beyoncé has previously released concert films such as “Life Is but a Dream” in 2013, “Lemonade” in 2016, and the 2019 Netflix documentary “Homecoming,” which documented her Coachella performance.
