Beyoncé Seats Without View Sold by Ticketmaster

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour continues to captivate audiences across Europe, Canada, and now the United States. However, some fans are going to great lengths, even purchasing “listening only” seats, just to experience her musical magic. According to Axios, Ticketmaster has been quietly selling tickets for these exclusive seats, which provide no view or stage perspective. Attendees at her recent Atlanta concert paid a staggering $226, plus taxes and fees, for these coveted spots, as reported by Fox 5. However, Axios notes that one of their staff members snagged a seat for only $50 at Beyoncé’s concert in Washington, DC, last month.

According to Axios, their staff member was able to catch fleeting glimpses of Beyoncé herself whenever she walked to the edge of the stage, as they could see the screen during the concert. This “listening-only” seating option represents the music industry’s innovative approach to revenue generation from dedicated fans. Furthermore, it appears that these seats are the modern version of what was previously known as “obstructed view” seats. One attendee, Ryan Bloomquist, told Insider about his experience purchasing a “no view listening only” ticket for Beyoncé’s New Jersey show last month and having a fantastic time.

Bloomquist mentioned that although his view was partially blocked by a VIP box, he had a perfect vantage point since he stood and danced throughout the entire concert. Some fans criticized the high price of these seats, which were selling for nearly $160, but Bloomquist wasn’t too concerned. He simply wanted to immerse himself in Beyoncé’s electrifying energy.
