Bachelor Fans Rejoice as Sean McLaughlin Returns in Exciting Spin-off!

Despite Rensselaer County Executive Steve McLaughlin’s son, Sean, being sent home during the summer as the sixth-remaining contestant on the ABC reality dating series “The Bachelorette,” he now has an opportunity for redemption and more on-screen exposure.

Starting Thursday, Sean McLaughlin will be appearing on “Bachelor in Paradise,” a show that gives rejected contestants from past seasons of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” a chance to find love and create drama in a beachside resort in Mexico.

According to reliable “Bachelor” franchise spoiler, Reality Steve, it was previously reported that McLaughlin would be joining the cast of “Bachelor in Paradise.” However, it was uncertain if the contestant, who now resides in Florida, would appear in the premiere episode or join later on as rotation of contestants occurs.

In a recent promo for “Bachelor in Paradise,” McLaughlin is briefly seen kissing another contestant and is featured in a cast photo alongside 18 other contestants in Mexico, as well as other promotional materials for the new series.

“I think my biggest fear on the show will be getting hurt and being caught in a love triangle,” said McLaughlin in a promo for the show, which can be viewed on itsFacebook page.

McLaughlin previously expressed his feelings for the bachelorette, Charity Lawson, before he was eliminated during a July episode.

In a previous Instagram post, Sean McLaughlin reflected on his experiences on the show, stating, “Watching it all back, I saw parts of me that I loved, I saw parts of me that need some work (therapy is helping lol) but at the end of the day I recognized myself, just a more open and vulnerable version that’s been hidden from people. I’m not sure what the future holds but I’m excited for it.”

Don’t miss “Bachelor in Paradise” airing live on ABC at 9 p.m. on Thursdays, followed by streaming on Hulu the next day.
