Ava Max Expresses Gratitude to Fans Following Unexpected Encounter with Stage Invader in LA

Videos circulating online show a disturbing incident that occurred during a recent concert at The Fonda Theatre. The footage captures a man striking US pop star Ava Max in the face while she is in the middle of her performance. Ava Max can be seen visibly flinching and holding her eye before ultimately leaving the stage.

After the show, Max took to Twitter to reveal the extent of her injuries, stating that the force of the blow scratched the inside of her eye. In response, she declared that the perpetrator would not be allowed to attend any future shows. Despite the incident, Max expressed gratitude towards her fans for their support.

Joel Rangel, a concert attendee from Tucson, Arizona, captured the incident on video. Rangel recounts the events, explaining that a fan rushed onto the stage, causing some lights to fall. The fan appeared to be attempting to embrace Ava Max but was swiftly apprehended by security. Unfortunately, their arm made contact with Max’s face.

Rangel adds that the incident nearly resulted in the cancellation of the meet-and-greet session, as Max was disoriented and in need of sunglasses. When Rangel finally had the opportunity to speak with her, he noted her disoriented state.

Despite the unfortunate incident, Ava Max, whose real name is Amanda Ava Koci, has experienced significant success in her music career. Her breakout single, “Sweet But Psycho,” gained widespread acclaim in 2018, and subsequent hits like “Kings & Queens” and “The Motto” featuring Tiesto further solidified her popularity. Her debut studio album, “Heaven & Hell,” achieved great success in the UK charts in 2020, and she recently released her second album, “Diamonds & Dancefloors,” at the beginning of this year.

Sadly, this incident follows another recent incident involving singer Bebe Rexha, who sustained facial injuries when a concertgoer threw a phone at her during a performance in New York.

Overall, this unfortunate incident serves as a reminder of the potential dangers and disruptions that artists face during live performances.
