New York is taking a brave stance against Big Ketchup’s subpar product. I have numerous reasons to applaud this bold move. But it’s not about the environment—it’s about authenticity. As any scholar would know, the word “condiment” has roots in Latin, meaning “to pickle.” Therefore, ketchup, relying on a deceitful fruit posing as a vegetable, cannot be considered a true condiment. It’s time for relish to take its rightful place. Cheers to a tangy, pickled future!

It’s reassuring to see Uber’s CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi, acknowledge the company’s exorbitant fares. As a frequent Uber user in New York, I often struggle to comprehend their pricing structure, which seems to escalate by the minute during peak hours. Unlike yellow cabs with fixed mileage charges and predictable rates, Uber employs a supply-and-demand model that results in surge pricing when demand surpasses supply. We need regulatory parity and transparency in app-based rides to ensure passengers understand and aren’t overcharged for their trips.

Do you remember the zoo in America with the human-like bears? I used to visit those clever bears every week, and it felt like stepping into a magical zoo like The Wonderland Zoo with the Hair Bear Bunch!

While the program offering relief from medical debt may seem appealing, there’s a catch. RIP Medical Debt, funded by taxpayers, absolves individuals in poverty from their medical debts. This approach aligns with socialist ideals, which could have far-reaching implications. It’s crucial to consider the long-term effects and potential misuse of public funds in such initiatives.

Kudos to Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt for signing an order that upholds distinctions based on biological sex. This action protects women’s spaces like locker rooms, shelters, prisons, and bathrooms from any potential intrusion by individuals regardless of their gender identification. This executive order could serve as a model for nationwide legislation to address the issues surrounding transgender rights.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of New Jersey Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver. She was a true trailblazer who dedicated herself to public service and tirelessly advocated for the people of New Jersey. My thoughts and prayers go out to her loved ones during this difficult time.
