Attempting the Unusual Military Fitness Routine Endorsed by Helen Mirren

Helen Mirren, the iconic actress, has been following a daily 12-minute military workout for most of her life. Intrigued by her approach to fitness, I decided to give it a try. However, I found it to be quite complicated and tedious, so I gave up after just six days.

After seeing photos of Helen Mirren at the Cannes Film Festival, I was amazed by her effortless beauty and confidence. I discovered that her routine was actually quite similar to mine, minus the glamor and fame. She had a simple skincare routine, didn’t go overboard with makeup, and enjoyed indulging in food and alcohol.

I managed to find a PDF of the workout and hoped that it closely resembled what Mirren does each day. The workout consists of 12 exercises with increasing levels of difficulty based on age.

I started the workout on a Monday, even though I was still recovering from a music festival. The exercises were slow-paced and seemed easier than I expected. I followed the workout for a few days, but found it to be monotonous and lacking in intensity.

As I progressed through the levels, I hoped to see some physical results, but they were minimal. By day five, I started to feel some fatigue, but it wasn’t enough to keep me motivated. I eventually gave up on the workout due to its complexity and lack of excitement.

I’m not sure how Helen Mirren has managed to stick with this workout for her entire life, as reported by Yahoo News. It remains a mystery whether she still follows the 51-page PDF and completes the exercises to this day.

In conclusion, while Helen Mirren’s 12-minute military workout may work for some people, it didn’t suit my needs and preferences.
