Ateneo Blue Eagles stalwart Ange Kouame. –ANGE KOUAME INSTAGRAM
MANILA, Philippines—Ange Kouame achieved a remarkable milestone as he and five of his fellow Ateneo Blue Eagles graduated from Ateneo de Manila University.
Kouame, who gained recognition with the Blue Eagles, received his degree in Interdisciplinary Studies on Friday.
In an Instagram post, Kouame expressed his gratitude and joy, stating, “Amazing journey. I’m just happy to be here. Much love to the community and the people that made it possible for me to be in these shoes. It was a pleasure, blue and white. 34 is out!”
In a playful manner, Kouame humorously highlighted his “specialty in championships” throughout his tenure at Ateneo. The naturalized Filipino ended his collegiate career with a championship, marking his third overall in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
Joining Kouame in the ranks of graduating Blue Eagles are Geo Chiu, Jason Credo, Jacob Lao, Matthew Daves, and JC Fetalvero.
Coach Tab Baldwin expressed his pride in seeing his players earn their degrees, describing the experience as a “career treasure.” Baldwin lauded their dedication to the university and wished them success in their future endeavors.
