Armed EMTs Stop Ax-Wielding Woman from Attacking Man and Smashing Station Door: Police Report

Kentucky EMTs subdue woman accused of attacking man with ax, smashing station door

In a bizarre and harrowing incident, Kentucky EMTs were forced to subdue a woman who allegedly attacked a man with an ax before smashing a glass door at the emergency service station, according to the Olive Hill Police Department.

The suspect, identified as 44-year-old Kellie Boggs, reportedly attacked an unidentified man with an ax around 1 a.m. on Friday, leaving him with serious injuries to his face. The victim was later found in a ditch behind the Carter County EMS station’s west base.

Following the alleged attack, Boggs then made her way to the EMTs’ station and proceeded to smash a glass door. Despite a group of EMTs sleeping inside the station at the time, they quickly sprang into action to subdue the woman, holding her at gunpoint until police arrived on the scene.

Boggs, who hails from the neighboring town of Grayson, has been charged with assault and criminal mischief and is currently being held at the Carter County Detention Center.

The injured victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his serious injuries.

Fox News Digital reached out to the Olive Hill Police Department for updates on the case but did not receive an immediate reply.
