Aerosmith Tour on Hold: Shocking Revelation as Lead Singer, Steve Tyler, Fractures Larynx

Aerosmith, the renowned American rock band known for their popular hits like “Dream On,” “Dude (Looks Like A Lady),” and “Walk This Way,” has been forced to reschedule their upcoming shows in the United States due to singer Tyler sustaining vocal cord damage. Initially, the band had planned to hold the shows in January and February 2024.

However, in an update on Friday, Aerosmith announced that Tyler’s vocal injury is more serious than originally thought. As a result, the band will be unable to perform again until sometime in 2024.

Taking to Instagram, Aerosmith posted: “His (Tyler’s) doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx, which requires ongoing care.

“He is currently receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure a swift recovery, but due to the nature of the fracture, patience is essential.

“Therefore, all the PEACE OUT shows that were previously scheduled will be postponed to a later date in 2024. We will announce the new dates as soon as we have more information.

“All tickets that were previously purchased will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds will also be available for those unable to attend once the new dates are announced. Fans with refund inquiries should contact their point of purchase.”

As of now, the band’s website does not show any upcoming shows for next year.
