Adam Driver’s Vocal Confrontation with Audience Member at ‘Ferrari’ Screening

Adam Driver made headlines when he responded to an audience member’s question at the screening of “Ferrari” at Poland’s Camerimage Film Festival. The member inquired about the crash scenes, criticizing them for being harsh, drastic, and cheesy. Driver, in a bold move, simply replied, “Fuck you, I don’t know? Next question.”

Adam Driver attended the festival to accept the Special EnergaCamerimage Award for an Actor and introduce “Ferrari,” part of the Camerimage Main Competition. He portrays Enzo Ferrari in Michael Mann’s biographical drama, set in 1957, and also features Penelope Cruz, Shailene Woodley, Gabriel Leone, Sarah Gadon, and Patrick Dempsey.

When speaking to Variety, Driver talked about the terrifying experience of driving a modified “open-wheel single-seater” for the film, transporting him back in time to the perilous race. He also discussed Mann’s pre-production approach, where several actors, including Driver, test-drove contemporary Ferraris.

“Ferrari” was revealed to have several actors test-drive contemporary Ferraris in pre-production, an experience that added depth to their performances on screen. For those curious about “Ferrari,” it hits theaters on December 25th.
